FOB (brick type)
Has anyone got a spare remote FOB, brick style for my 1998 1.9, I could do with one to put on my spare set of keys. When I purchased the car there was no fob, I have obtained one from an Org member and coded it to work, just got to fit a replacement actuator to passenger door to get it all working as only boot and drivers door work.

Have you tried Andy, "spurs fan in a coupe", on org site, he's regularly breaking Z3 models. He's helped me out with a replacement key already for my Coupe so I can refurbish my worn item.

Re: FOB (brick type)
My Z3 has the later style key, however,my son had a couple of compacts (316i) in the past and if I remember correctly, the earlier 97/98 model had the same brick style fob.Possibly a search on ebay would locate one?
