Post history when posting a reply?

Post by Ian_C »

I'm sure I recall a period a month or 2 ago that when you were composing a reply to a thread, you could see the thread history in the same window. This doesn't happen anymore. Did I have an option switched on inadvertently or was it a trial of some sort? :?

I've seen this employed on other forums and I like the feature. Any chance of it on zroadster? Thoughts...?

Yes, this used to work on here too. No idea what controls it, sorry.

Would be nice to have it back.

I knew there was something missing recently when posting just could not put my finger on it.

With senior moments becoming more frequent I sometimes have trouble remembering my name let alone what I am writing about. :head:

Now what was this thread about :puzzle:

I just assumed it was a typical "product enhancement" and have just used the Back arrow to get back to the original post and then copied and pasted anything that I want to refer to.

Would prefer the old style!

You can't upload a small photo from your PC any more either.

I'm afraid I've never seen this actually happen on the forum. And I haven't a clue how to enable it, so I'm going to have to defer to Tim.

do you actually like driving at all or are cars to you just a manifestation of some sort of pathological mother complex ?

I have uploaded a photo using tinypic like you can on other forums? Google tiny pic and upload from your PC. Should be ok? Or are you talking about something else?

I'm talking about the "add a attachment to your post" at the bottom of where you post a reply. I last used it at the beginning of Sept on Terry's (321bhp) thread about his new car, but it wouldn't attach a photo last week when I tried. I'm ok on my Quota, I've uploaded 44 photos this way [Uploaded: 1.56 MB / Quota: 600 MB / 0% of total]
