Anyone tried or have engineering knowledge of this?

Its all cobblers, the only way to get better MPG is to buy super unleaded or take your foot off the loud pedal :-)

Christ you lot are even more cynical than I am

I did think it was a load of old tat and difficult to prove it didn't work as everyone's mpg figure will change depending on how and where they drive anyway.

Untreated Fuel molecules tend to clump together due to the attraction between molecules with charges of opposite polarities.
As an example, Petrol contains mainly hydrocarbons ranging from butane (C4H10) to octane (C8H18). Said hydrocarbons exist in a state where the electron charge of each molecule is spread evenly between the bonding atoms with no discernible +/- poles within the molecule. How they come to the conclusion that the above quote is correct is beyond me.

It would probably be just as useful as fitting one of these: http://www.globalautoshop.com/performan ... vortex.htm

Talking as a chemist (Yes, really) the major constituents of petrol are not polar molecules so applying a magnetic field across petrol will do absolutely nothing.

Trust me, I'm a doctor.

I am also a chemist, working in industry, and am also sceptical, however I believe that, for instance, hexane has a polarity index of about 0.1 and is therefore slightly polar. Whether this means anything as far as 'declumping' molecules in an electrical field, I have my doubts, but at least it could have some effect.

No, no, no... You're all wrong! Of course it works. I bought six sets and can now get 142 to the gallon on my 3.0i. I'm going to sell them to Mr BMW, I'm sure he'll be interested...

You can put sensible money on that they'll get plenty of punters!

Oh dear I seem to have missed the opportunity to save 1000's of pounds every year as the item has been sold!

Lets hope he gets some more soon so that other gullible fools can throw their money at him.

Now where did I did put that magnet and gaffa tape?

Never mind, Fred's Dad, I'm here to help. Now I've managed to secure a small quantity of Magico Fuel Savers and I can provide you with one at the small fee of £6.99 (plus 5.49 shipping of course). Fitting takes a matter of minutes (no skill necessary). The well know Magico Fuel Saver fits comfortably under the right hand pedal on the floor (you don't even have to unwrap it) and is absolutely guaranteed to save you shed loads of cash. I can do you a good price on two, Boss, just in case you lose one!

PM me for a fast delivery (after your cash clears you understand).
