can anyone advise if you can buy heatshield box for 2.2 z?, im going to fit a K & N cone filter or do you have to make it? thanks Pete

ive bought a heat shield that clips onto k & n filter but its not a box, just curves around on engine side . pete

demon tweaks.co.uk then go to performance & yhen airfilters & choose acccessories . heat sheild just over £7 . pete

medium , but have not fitted it yet looks ok. might try sticking something to the outside to absorb the heat

Surely you want to reflect the heat rather than absorb it?

now fitted k & n filter & heatshield, works fine . could see how to get new a new air flow pipe through ? no room ! . any suggestions ?

hi, do you get a nice induction roar with your k & n, as mine is quiet as a mouse ! by the way, to get more cold air, i removed the back cover of the headlamp as the bilbs are sealed anyway, this allows more airflow.

yes not bad sound, better when revs high , i bought new bottom front grille from zunsport but when i tried to fit today it was to small :( , now have to get replaced . might fit scoop behind grille & connect to existing air hole & then connect inside with tube to air filter . pete

i have a zunsport lower grille, bit of a pain to fit as you probably found out, but make the car more individual :)
