try dealer. Not expencieve part. Hole need to be drilled bigger.

You need part no 82 14 9 404 646 and costs £8.50. Its made of chromed plastic and fits around the push botton. You will need to remove the botton and open up the hole. I did this with a grinding wheel having drawn out the hole size on the bodywork. The bare metal then protecting with paint. It took a bit of time but worth the trouble (and saved £60 by DIY).

I was advised by my local dealer not to do the mod as it usually leads to rusting around the newly drilled hole.

I even asked him if he had the bits in stock. I was really shocked when he said "Yes".

My local dealer said the same thing, they even said that they dont like doing it for customers as there is too much potential for things to go wrong !
