Decent price, good all weather tyres?

Tyres, exhausts, suspension, strut braces, air filters, brake pads/rotors and anything else for 'dawn raiders'.

Decent price, good all weather tyres?

Post by David »

My alloys are going in for refurb in a couple of weeks, and potentially with a couple of slow punctures on the tyres, it seems silly to burden my shiny new looking wheels with old boots.

Therefore can anybody recommend me a decent, modestly priced set of 225/40/r18 tyres for Scarlet (yes, she's officially name - although no champagne was smashed on the bonnet) (and no, Champagne is not the name of my girlfriend ;) )

Maxxis MAZ1's are a great all rounder and are also a decent price. They have a good looking tread pattern as well, I think I paid about £75 a tyre for 225/40/18s.

A few other members also run them and have been quite impressed :-)

You guy will be happy to know that I will hopefully be ordering them over the weekend, to be put on when the wheels get refurbed in early November.

I have found them for £62.50 per corner :squeeze:
