Hi all, I have removed the front wheels on my Zed to change the front arch liners as they've had there day and found scuffing in the obvious full lock position on both sides. The wheels are E46 M3 18x8.5J reps with falken 225's on the front, 245's on the rear. The tyres are stretched which isn't my thing to be fair but am I right in assuming this was possibly done to accommodate the width of the alloys? So what I am asking is can you get spacers and if so would this then rub the wheel arch instead? I don't want to have to change the wheels as I really like them, I'm also hoping to fit the correct tyres which I think would be 245's?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Dave

Check this site out. It has a very handy calculator that tells you what effect the offset and tyre width will have on the distance between the suspension components and wheel arch.
It also explains offset very well too

Thanks Marc, I'll read it later in bed with my cocoa!! Bloody hell there's plenty to digest there but if it answers my question it's all good.
