Opinion on Koni STR.T suspension kit and fitting query.

Post by Keynun »

Hi guys,

I am considering changing my current coilovers to the very well known e36 Koni Str suspension kit with H&R Springs. This is a fixed rate kit with a full set of shortened orange series shocks & matched springs.
The kit in question: http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?p=411207542&a=i#

Has anyone ever had experience of these on a z3?

My other question: Will I need to buy the bump stops and other bits when fitting the front shocks? I threw away my old suspension as my coil overs came with everything pre-installed :(

Here are the bits i'm talking about: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do ... g=31&fg=10

Thanks in advance,

Ken.

Sorry can't help but wondering why you thinking if going from coilovers to normal springs?
