The fronts will, the rears won't.CalMac wrote:So I have not long had my Z3 and looking for much lows so I have been looking at som coilovers and was looking to see if people in here could tell me if these ones in the link below would fit

You need e36 compact coilovers or z3 coilovers or a combo of the two
Z3s have e36 front suspension and e30 rear suspension

Re: Coilovers help!!
As a beginner, I don't understand this expensive modification.
Does it just lower the stance of the car?...can't you just use springs to do this?
Whats the deal with spending £600-£700?

Never heard of 7twenty - looks like rebranded parts, possible BC Racing. That's what I run along with Brian H and we both use 6kg fronts and 8kg rears which is what these 7twenty package offer.
I would want to know a little more about them before buying. Have been very happy with my BC racing set up so far. They replaced FK silver lines which although were made in Garmany were not long lasting or as good in the ride and handling Dept, German made isn't always better it seems!
There is a U.K. based supplier - Gaz shocks who are well known for TVR and MX5 and other brands suspension. They have recently done development for Z3's as they supply the shocks for the new Z3 race series. If I was buying coilovers again I'd certainly be talking to them - having a UK based manufacturer who has actual developmental experience on the Z3 is a big plus I feel.

Suggest you budget on doing as many of the suspension bushes as you at the same time - makes for a completely different car when done right!
