I followed the link and found my car, there are a few recalls etc, does that mean my car should have had these recalls? If so, how do i know if they have been done? Would the dealer know from the chassis?

Cheers.

I could only find referance to the S52 (american spec car) and S54 M Roadsters, no mention of the S50 at all.

You are right, I just double checked, 98 M roadster takes you to S52. Does that mean there are no recalls of the S50?

Recall ++

tags , give your VIN no to a dealer , he can advise what work has been carried out.

The Database is American based, and they did not have the S50 Engine, only the S52, and later S54 in their Z3R & Z3C

I am awaiting info on possible EU spec Database. :rtm:

Does anyone know how accurate this data is? I have an issue with my Z3 which seems to be flagged on the alldata as a recall (z3 3.0 - "Engine Low Oil Level Warning") . However the dealer I called said there were no problems with the car... :head:

They've booked it in to check anyway, but is there some policy to "deny all knowledge of recalls" or did i just get a mis-informed service person?
