I was playing about in photoshop and ended up with this 60's style coupe by using the original hardtop as a basis.

I thought the result was quite funny but I ended up liking that retro look so I thought I'd post it here, hopefully you'll have a good laugh just like i did :)

This was a mild facelift that never was to mordernise the front and give it a broader look;

That broad image really suits the car, love the Alpinas too.

komis' photoshop thread - I'd forgotten how horrible that car is. Each to his own but apart from anything else, I don't like that spoiler & the vents on the bonnet just spoil the line.

Is it a Veilside kit on there? I saw a Z3 w/ Veilside kit in a magazine a couple of months back. I do like some blingy chrome bits but I don't want to change the line, that's why I bought the car.

Yes I did, but I didn't tell you the best part, I also had the door and ignition locks changed so now he has to ask my permission if he wants to drive it :P

komis BMW should have given you a job 10 years ago, your coupe looks so much better than the "breadvan" that they came up with 8-)

10 years ago I was just finishing school so that would have probably been unlikely... Thanks for the nice comments though!

I must however admit I actually DO like the breadvan... A LOT!!!!!!

Why not start our own business building custom hard-tops!! I mean, how hard could it really be?

Yes, I must admit this is a larfffffffffffffffff and a half....... but if that coupe is a bread van it would obviously be delivering loaves from Selfridges or Harrods or Harvey Nichols.............. I certainly wouldn't mind one! :wink:
