Wiesmann Coupe - anybody seen one of these things??

Post by Marvellous »

Just came across this website www.wiesmann-mf.com/index.html the Coupe they make looks absolutely beautiful!! The roadster doesn't look bad either.

Coupe powered by a 4.7l BMW V8, the roadster by M54 3.0 or 3.2 ///M motor ..... Nice :P Have a look at the brochure.

Anybody seen one of these things?

I saw both the roadster and coupe at the Top Gear motor show. (Show was crap - cars were good...) Gorgeous both of them.. But I'd be really torn. I love convertibles but if I was going to buy one of these it'd hve to be the coupe... In my quick investigations you can pick them up for around 40k used..

I nearly bought one after my Zed, seemed like a step in the right direction at the time, stunning looks and curves AND a fantastic engine to match..
Sadly it never happened, I still look at them and think its a stonking car, I preferred to roadster

I've been into this coupe at the Top Marques show in Monaco. I'm disappointed by the driving position. The pedals are one side, steering goes in the other and the seat is really tight. The position is not very comfy.

The interior is cosy, but it cannot hide it's made by hand.

I too saw one at the motor show, and Clarkson has reivewed it. Essentially you are buying a z4m without the electric seats, windows, aircon and so on.

Wow... I didn't know this company or their cars, they're absolutely beautiful... are they a Z4 without all the niceties? Maybe so but how many of these do you see around the road each day!!!

And of course, imagine parking this in front of the casino in Monte Carlo :)

Sorry about the exposure.
Try www.tvtorrents.com for the TopGear episode. Clarkson loved it.

it has an jag xk120 look about it , which was inturn inspired by the 328 of the thirties...so BMW running gear is quite apt :nerd:
