First post - need help

Post by GregR »

Hi

I've just bought my wife a wonderful 1998 Z3 2.8 Roadster.

We live in Wimbledon London SW19 and need to find a local independent specialist for services, etc.

Can anyone help??

Hi Geoff, welcome to the forum.

If a bit of a drive isn't a problem, Munich Legends in East Sussex are a good independent specialist. When I was booked in for a service, they offered a Civic Type R as a courtesy car at no extra expense, and the service that they quoted was cheaper than Cooper BMW. Munich Legends website.

Try this page, I found J&D in High Wycombe from it, 40min train into town and the service was well worth the drive there from Walton - they knew their BMW's inside and out. Bit of a scrap yard location with a big friendly guard dog. Will be returning.

Also used a place in Hampton court who say they specialise in BMw and Audi, had 1 bad visit out of 4/5 visit over 3 years but the rest was perfect. Can't remember the name.

Also La Voiture in West Molesey (they restore British classics as well as Modern French stuff), they do all my bits and bobs like brakes and mini services, MOTs etc - Very good petrolheads - I should really do this sort of work myself myself, but can't be arsed and their rate are low.
