Pitter patter?, thud thud thud more like!
Sylv and I are delighted to inform our friends at ZRoadster that someone's managed to get herself pregnant last Christmas, so we're now expecting a REAL BABY on the 24th September (Sylv calls the Z the Baby for anyone who doesn't know).
It's Sylvia's first and my 3rd (Tom's 18 in April & Chloe's 14 in June for heavens sake - talk about being the Oldest Dad in Yorkshire!), so any help, advice, tax dodges, claims from the state or whatever anyone can help us with will be most welcome. At least we should be ok for child minding duties.
The pregnancy seems to be going ok, though the shape and size of Sylv's tummy is starting to give me concern over just how large it might be, she's now almost the same shape as me!!!
Unusually for these parts, it doesn't mean the Z's going up for sale either. We just need to work out how to attach a child seat between the roll hoops.

Cheers all, been away at the inlaws this weekend, sharing the joy etc.
It's pretty much all sunk in now, but the sister in law, who's first and only child is now only 4, is clearly the biggest expert on child rearing ever, so looks like we'll be ok
In terms of genders, we're hoping for a healthy one, but will be happy none-the-less, slong as it's not a ladyboy.
So just how 'tidy or not' is she supposed to be at 13 weeks anyway? Not that I'm getting worried, but BLOODY HELL!
BTW, Gazza, do you think I've got a case for abuse?

Sylv and I are delighted to announce the safe arrival of Luca John, after a marathon labour. He arrived at 11.10 pm on the 28th September and we are both thrilled to bits.
Anyone with a small baby will explain why it's taken this long to get around to posting pics.
Not sure when his first run in the Z will be yet.

Congratulations Stu & Sylv and all the best with the new arrival. I suppose you are already experiencing the sleepless nights so I won't bore you with that old pun but hope mother and baby are doing well.
We need a photo of you and Luca in the Z, start 'em young I say !!

Thought about that, but shirley it spoils the weight distributionrgf wrote:Cute - congratulations, but i'm not sure about baby seats in the front personally. He might be safer in the boot.
Isn't that what they mean by baby bootees?
I have actually seen a Morgan +8 with the spare wheel hole filled with a kiddie seat, all 3 occupants wearing leather flying hats & goggles! Propper old school.
