The m-word again

Post by spokey »

I've noticed lately that many of the moderating tasks I've had to do involve moving questions out of the Z3 range knowledgebase. People who post there have not read the announcements and the stickies.

I know this, because one of the stickies is entitled: "Please Do Not Post Questions Here!" There is no prize for guessing what the content of this sticky is.

Bearing in mind that different people use the forum in different ways, it could mean that someone who knows the answer to your question does not see it because they never read that section of the board. So please, folks, if you have a question:
Please remember that all those 'How do I?' questions should be placed on the appropriate main Z forum, and only complete answers posted in the knowledgebase.
Always read the announcements and stickies in a forum before posting there. You should only really need to do this the first time you post there.

I have renamed the knowledgebase forum as a hint and people who persist in posting questions in the newly named forum will definitely get a merit badge to indicate a degree of numptiness. :D

Thanks!
Ciao,
Spokey
