Your summer in England is our winter. So reading the exploits, tours, seeing the photo's from the established thusiasts and hearing from new members joining the group certainly was up-there in the the highlights of my winter. We don't get the problem of rear screens cracking here with the ice (up north anyway) so the occasional early morning run (as the sun comes up) are the only other highlights I can think of. One drive up the coast on a sunday morn 6.00am was a drive to remember, "cold as" (no heated seats) but really clear sky and sun just thinking of waking. Then Yeeehaaa!!!!! we passed a Z4 topdown going in the other direction, and a toot from his horn as well. What a way to live. Hope your winter isn't to bad over there.
And sincerelly hope none of you suffered any major damage from the recent floods.

Sounds cool, in more ways than one.violetduck wrote:Driving home to Aberdeen at 4am with the top down driving by the sea, starry sky and freezing cold!
What more could you want?
Reminds me of a few years ago on Highlander, when Sylv caught a train up to Inverness & my pleasure was to collect her on the Friday night. I never knew there were so many deer about - scared me senseless

hahaha yip! The deer love it up here.
I drove my friend's Ariel Atom to Aviemore and ran over a bunny (rest his/her soul) and it felt like I'd just killed a wildebeest!
I miss the Z already, its only been packed away for a week!
I use a 3 Series over the winter. It just is not the same
I did take some pics of it after polishing, they aren't good quality, but I'll add them to a different thread!

Well I wondered if that's what Stu meant LOL
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Not that the track photo proves anything. Could be taken anywhere which is probably why I was too tight to buy the photo.
Now on trying to attach Spa pics I'm getting "Sorry, but the maximum filesize for all Attachments is reached. Please contact the Board Administrator if you have questions."
Even though my user attachment panel shows only; Uploaded: 7.77 MB / Quota: 600 MB / 1% of total ?!
Yes photo bucket's the answer thanks.
Here you can see the unmistakable shade of Spa grey tarmac as proof that I was there.

Upload the pics to a photo server (photobucket, picasa), copy the URL and paste it here between .Robin wrote:Well I wondered if that's what Stu meant LOL

Just kidding Robin.... its best to host them and just link in, as per my demonstration ^
Most of them are free to host your pictures and you can always get hold of them- even after a computer failure
