Did you get to see the first game?
I will not say anymore if you are waiting for the highlights, but
I was quite surprised by the South African team.

The opening ceremony was a bit, well, zzzzz, but I will let you judge that for your selves.

If I may be critical of your photography....
(hope you don't mind)

Pic 1
Foreground is obscured but some long grass.
Check the viewfinder before pressing the shutter.

Pic2
You've rather over-cropped the front of the vehicle.
Try standing further away
(Oh and the Orange indicators are rather incongruous )

Pic 3
Composition
This is a bit confusing.
is it a still life of the chairs, the bricks or the hosepipe bracket?
Either way the beer rings should have been wiped off the table

Lastly, are you a secret Z3-with-a-towbar-for-my-trailer guy?

:D

Sorry mate - couldn't resist

ah Titan you have to much time on your hands studying the pics.
hosepipe reel? thats on my house which you cant see. i think. just gone outside to check. your right the table needs a wipe , just done it and my dailly driver has a towbar and the trailer is for my sons motocross bike. yes i agree the orange indicators, there on my wish list but spent my paper round money this month on M mirrors and a strutt brace.
My zed loves it with the flags as she has a british passport and i cant ever imagine having German or American flags in the garden. :D

Yes, but it was Australia.

wonder how many times Ryan Giggs has wished he was English in his career ? What a shame such talent has never played in the world cup / european championships.

Probably none however I'm sure there are plenty of Englishmen (like me) who wished he chosen England. I'm pretty confident that we'd have won the 2002 World Cup with Giggs in the side.

BBC Sport's chief football writer Phil McNulty

"England will complain long and hard about the bitter injustice of Frank Lampard's disallowed goal, with justification, but no amount of controversy should disguise how embarrassing they have been in parts of this game.

The manner in which Germany have been too quick, too mobile and too intelligent is a chastening lesson for Fabio Capello to take away from this World Cup."

BBC Sport's Mark Lawrenson

"Ah well, there's always Wimbledon." :head:

A shameful performance, sorry an appearance

There should be video playback for verification of decisions though, look how often it is vital in tennis decisions.

We certainly got what we deserved
