Work done since purchase:

3.Heavy duty battery fitted
4.Front pads/sensor replaced
5.All "M" badges replaced
6.Power hood made to operate correctly with replacement micro-switch
and operating rod connection cup replaced
u]MY THANKS TO IAN (ACEMAN ) FOR HIS HELP AND SUPPORT[/u]
7.Full body clean using Farecla liquid compound and 3M hand glaze wax
8.Engine cleaned but not detailed
9.New front tyres (michelin pilot sport to match rears)

Further attention required to ;

Wonderful car looks fantastic John.

As mentioned in our talks glad you have got the hood working again as that could of cost you a small fortune at the dealers.

I am very pleased as most people on here will be to see back in the seat of a Z3, keep us all updated with the progress and well done.

Wecome back

Looks like a facelift S50 and from memory your old one was pre facelift ? Have you noticed a difference with the extra roof lining?

Great car, i think your wheels look great.

For info i had my wheels refurbed at the wheelspecialist today after recommendations on here, dropped of at 8 this morning, picked up at 16.30, already waxed them twice ready for our run to Wales tomorrow to meet the guys from here.

Also found a recommendation for a company in Bradford for replacing the rear window, they also repair/refurb hoods and leather seats, i will be there myself in a month of 2, if you want to know the name give me a shout.

Hi-just an update on the outstanding repairs/refurb on the Z

Since last posting I purchased a full leather repair kit from Germany for the worn drivers seat squab (£72) but worth every penny.Although not perfect due to uneven wear the colour match of the seats (estoril blue) is spot on.The whole interior is now fully cleaned and treated.

I have put the replacement hood on hold till next year, current one is still seviceable with no leaks .will not be used through winter so no panic .

I purchased an excellent set of M3 (2008) rims and tyres from a guy in Aberdeen who fortunately had a connection with DHL so delivery cost minimal-hope you like!

John, you could do with some spacers on the rears due to the Z3m's low rear offset. Hard to tell from the pics but probably 10 or 15mm would pull the rears out nicely to the wheel arch ?

Eeeek, those wheels look too big!?

Only my opinion but I think the original alloys suit the car much better.

Grats on the wheels! They look absolutely fab.. I think they take your Z to 2010 while maintaining the retrolook flirting with multispoke. This will be on the wishlist from now on.

Looks fab, love the alloys 8-) but as Jonn mentioned rears need to come out a bit, just looks a little imbalanced.

Tim.
