ZRoadster Calendar 2011 - Your forum needs you!
Hello again all you ZRoadsterites,
It's that time of year again whereby I am asking for your photo submissions for the forum calendar. As usual, we will be offering a professionally printed and bound calendar for sale made up using your photos. The price will be set to pay for the printing plus a little bit more to raise funds to keep the forum running.
As a reminder, here are a couple of the pages from last years calendar.
This year we are thinking of trying something a little different - in order to make the calendar work, I have to insist that all photos submitted must be PORTRAIT format (VERTICAL orientation) and have an unedited original available which is a minimum of 5 (five) megapixels (about 1900x2700 pixels). This will ensure that we can print them at a decent size and quality. If we can manage this, we are aiming to make a full A3 calendar (pity the postman!).
I am looking for photographs of ALL zeds (Z1, Z3, Z4 and Z8 inclusive) to put into the calendar. We have seen some really great photos posted up throughout the year, and with the change in format, it also gives a chance to submit some of the ones that couldn't go into previous years calendars because they were the wrong way on. I would like to ask you to post just your best ones in this thread for consideration for the calendar, and for those who have been hoarding their pictures, please please do post them up for us all to see. As always, we can unfortunately only pick 12. Again, there is no set theme, so feel free to submit a mix of photos of single cars, groups of cars, abstracts, meets, or just plain spectacular settings for zeds to be seen in - the only mandatory element is that the pictures must be zed related.
Please post your entries in this thread, resized to around 600x800, for us all to see. Assuming your entry is selected, I will ask for the original image later (this is important as I can't make a calendar from cropped/resized photos). Please also note that you must either own the copyright to the image or have obtained permission to use it.
The closing date for entries is Sunday 21st November 2010.
I can't wait to see all your pictures. As usual, I will update this thread with more information as we go along. Ordering details will be posted in a separate thread when we get nearer publication.
Thanks R.

Red Zed
Here's one of le Red Zed on the Col de Galibier in the French Alps, during October 2010. The Galibier is the fifth highest pass in Europe - on our last trip we were following the snowplough!

Some nice pics already, and some cracking portrait ones there - I'm hoping this might work!
Cheers R.
I went there on my jollies earlier in the year - I was marooned in Aqaba for three days due to bad weather! I could have waved to you.BonBon wrote:The Gulf of Aqaba (Eilat with Jordan in the background)

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Le Red Zed again
Here's one of the Red Zed about to leave for a run with our local old car club, beneath the fortress of Castelnaud, on the Dordogne.
Note the Triumph Spitfire and Citroen DS in the background, and the hot air balloon advertising the chateau of Milandes. The statue commemorates the death of the local vine-growing industry, which was decimated at the end of the 19th century by the philloxera parasite, imported accidentally from the USA.

Your car looks realy nice in that colour, matching wheels and the hard top sets it's off, quite a fetching photo.amancuso wrote:amancuso wrote:Can I email you the pic directly?
