teeny tiny BMW badge

Post by atlantablue »

Hello everyone, I have recently bought a boat which has a 2 litre bmw engine :) The bmw badge on the dash is unfortunately the worse for wear and I'd really like to replace it, only problem is it's 20mm diameter. Any ideas where I can get a badge thats so small? Any help would be very much appreciated! :)

You can get 14mm and 11mm key fob badges from fleabay:

Not 20mm I know but perhaps you could fudge a surround somehow with the badge in the middle

they're for going in your key, right??

My BMW key lights up when you press the BMW button down. The button itself does look a bit old.

My question is, how do i get out the old-looking badge from the key? Do you have to try and scoop it out?

It literally does come out with the help of a needle to get down the side and poke it out. The BMW sticker was extremely clean, it was just the plastic bit that wasn't. Ordered a mini badge myself to make my key look a whole lot better.
