I silently observe very often. I'd presume a lot of people do the same!

There is always a core set of people that post regularly and that core is always changing which is great for the Forum because it gives a new voice. A great forum needs those changes to stay alive which is why I think zroadster is so popular.

When I joined the Forum I sat back and gathered information about my Zed, gradually becoming confident enough that if someone asked a question that I could answer, I would.

At the time I joined there were more meets being organised and I attended as many as I could. I would encourage anybody to arrange a local meet, even if it's only for a chat. I've made many good friends through this Forum and hopefully will continue to do so.

I read the forums a lot but post less, mainly because I don't have much to contribute to threads.

I've been a member here for quite a while and so I see a lot of the same old questions being asked over and over again. I don't post to pad my post count and I tend not to post in "Do you like my new mod" threads as generally my answer would be no.

But if I have something constructive to add then I will. :)

The vast majority who register rarely, if ever, post.

I have noticed a change recently towards more of a younger/boy racer crowd, which I guess was always going to be inevitable as the price of these cars drop with age

I think I'll stick to reading and the entertainment that it provides as opposed to trying to help and educate by posting in future :D

It is good to see a mix of people.

I stereotypically labelled Z3 owners as my sort of age (36) onwards and women of all ages.

Buying a Z in the future will be my first foray into German motoring.
I've been a member of many forums over the years and still am active on three of them.

I'd like to meet up with owners but after posting and not getting a reply and also searching for meets near to where I live there seems to be noone/nothing about.

is that a pre-requisite of joining or posting on here? I must have missed that part when I was reading and accepting the forum guidelines

I think a lot of people use the Forum for information for learning rather than posting.

The Forum is full of facts and my cup is always only Half Full, so my Knowledge has expanded due to the Forum, but also due to ownership.

:wave Thought we would take this opportunity to say Hi to everyone,

especially those that are lonely, bored, old and infirm (this includes any

WHEELY old Zedders) Taking part can cheer anyone up as there is always

someone with a worse problem (ie total engine failure) and always

someone to lead a hand albeit verbally :thumb:

Meeting with all the East Anglian Gang on a regular basis has put another

dimension to our enjoyment of Zed ownership. :D

Every Z enthusiast is welcome. You dont need a Z and you dont need to post piccies.
Just enjoy the site and keep it nice and friendly.

Although I don't post very often I usually have a look at what's going on every couple of days.
This site has been invaluable in assissting with sorting things out with our 97 2.8.
More of a bike man myself although we did have a great couple of weeks around Europe in the z this year.

Hi Phil, i can no longer drive as i have only a little use left in my left arm, right is u/s. legs weakening slowly.

still have both zed's :D Z3 is in hibernation untill canman-jnr can drive it. a few yet he's only 15. Z4 will have to be sold at somepoint.

So im now in retirement aged 41, never saw that coming . but i enjoy each day and still love life and still have that smile on my face. Been having great days out ticking things of my wish list.

One way or another i'll be at the Zedfest 2012 , hopefully with my beloved Z3.
Thanks for asking Phil , hope you ok too. :)
