I think because our cars are not an "everyday" car, people tend to sell them more often. My Z3 I had, when I sold it, had 6 owners but it was still in excellent condition. The only way to find out how good it is unfortunately is to go and have a look at it and obviously do a check on line.

I wouldn't have a problem with it.

I think you will find the more owners, the more the car has been looked after, as lets be fair when you buy a car it is the pride and joy until some people get fed up of them, so it may not have been long enough with someone to ill-treat it

I agree with the other guys that condition should be the key factor. The trouble might come when you come to sell it and some people will have the same reaction as you when you tell them its had 8 owners.

I think condition is the important thing. Mine has had 6 owners but it's mint. I think a lot of people buy these cars with good intentions but find that they only use them in summer and after a while the novelty wears off. It may also have been a pre registered car which puts an owner in log book but car gone nowhere.

Thanks for comments, much appreciated. My concern was that when i come to sell on with then 8 owners would this maybe devalue the car!!
The car i'v been considering is at the Oxford german car specialists.

Does anyone live nearby?

I know that the only way to do this is to get there and view myself and probably will do asap.
