Please help support zroadster.net through sponsorship

Abject apologies for the site downtime. The fault might be mine as although I had told the hosting company of my change of address and email, I hadn't updated the admin file. So consequently invoices and statements went into the ether.

** EDIT: many thanks for those who made payments to help support the site, but following loads of negative posts I have decided to place the request on hold and return those contributions already received.

Glad to see the site back up :)

How much does it require to be run and upgraded ?

I know some members might find that objectionable - but I really do think it's an obvious idea. It would would bring in a known monthly income thus enabling planning, development and growth.

I feel this instance has possibly destroyed those chances, with recent supporters feeling a little 'disappointed'.

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Tim, as a long time support and huge fan of ZR, I think it's time to move on.

I have posted a question on the mods thread, if you could reply there, I'd be grateful.

Cheers & thanks again.

Well, why not. We could have a number of banners each with rotating or automatically changing ads - ads for the sort of things which often come up as questions - Struts, tyres, parts, beauty etc etc..
I didn't know much about the tech details of doing this, but it must be fairly easy - the difficult bit is selling the space.
I often use this site - and look at their banner ads: http://www.afors.com/

Can we keep the comments to frustration only and allow Tim some time to respond to the questions we've posted out of the public domain?

I runa forum with 12000 registered members averaging 2000 independent PC log ins per day, an online shop with a few hundred items and a database used by 800 clubs accessing 10,000 pieces of information.

it costs me between £30 and £50 per month........

All, the Mods and site Admin are currently trying to contact Tim in order to seek clarification on the valid points raised and to try and ensure the site's future is placed on a more secure footing.

For the time being, the site is up and running and functioning correctly, therefore until we have further news, I am locking this thread.

Thank you for your understanding.
