bimmerforums.com problem?

Post by Ian_C »

Does anyone on here use http://www.bimmerforums.com ? My browser is giving me a 'blocked' message with the following details: http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/ ... .php?f=137

Anyone else getting the same problem? Should I ignore it :?

It may be a false positive, but my browser is also blocking it.

You will just have to stick to using us. :wink:

Nowt to worry about apparently;
Google Malware Detected / Firefox Attack Site

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are aware of the problem and taking measures to correct the warning messages displayed by Google and Firefox. One of our users links his images from a domain which has been classified as a malware / phishing site. As a result, since his images are on our site, Google / Firefox think we are distributing the malware as well.

You have nothing to worry about.

We have taken measures to block the offending domains and notify Google. Now it is just a matter of time before they remove the warning flag associated with our site.

(Honestly, I was hoping Google would have fixed the problem by now)

UPDATE 8:55am

As of this morning... Google has given our site a clean bill of health, but it may take up to 24 hours for that information to propagate to all of the services that 'blacklist' a site as being malicious.

Happens with Firefox as well. I value my laptop too much to try IE. :wink:
