How can anyone do this.

I spotted this Z4 today. I couldnt believe that it's been scraped against the curb in such a way. All of those nice alloys were completely ruined all the way round. It has obviously been parked continually with no thought of what's happening to the wheels. It's one of the worst sounds in the world (except the sound of a One Direction track), the sound of alloy against curb. I'm only glad the Badman gee didn't see it. He would have had an instant coranary.

I don't think it's always a case of carelessness.
Sometimes you wonder how drivers pass their test and get a license!
I've been an advocate for many years for having graded driving licenses although I understand it would be impossible to impose and police.
The fact is if you have the money and lack of common sense you can pass a driving test one day and go out and buy a supercar the next wrecking it within a week!
We don't even confirm that people have been taught to drive at night, or on motorways, never mind in adverse conditions and we wonder why there are so many insurance claims making our premiums escalate!
Grrr! I'll get off my soapbox now!

and you have been?

if so, it wasn't on the test to legally drive a car.

Taking care of the wheels near kerbs just doent matter to some folks as stated above. On a brighter note, they are just replicas - but even so.
