I know that we are all looking out for our z's but I need help,

My son has a seat ibiza cupra 18v turbo and the drivers door window has stopped working I have replaced the regulator but it will still not work I really need an auto electrian in the yorkshire area as it is doing my head in

I am going insane

You tried doing a search on seatcupra.net for common faults.

Aren't you missing a couple of valves too. :wink:

Have you tried a new switch they are known to fail.

Ok you got me on the valves but like I've said it's doing my head in. I've swapped the switchers around even stripped down the old regulator to see if I can short the motor out to lift the window but apparently there is a circuit board and you carnt do that either,
So as you can see I need an auto electrician ,

We've had very similar problems at work with Seat's and Skoda's etc. A lot of these cars have a body control module and this problem fits the MO. We have an auto electrician coming to look at a couple of pains next Tuesday, I will gladly pick his brains if you don't sort it before then. Cheers Tony.
