Guys,
The front tyres on my e82 are trashed after 30k miles.
I have been offered 2x 215 40 r18 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A for £360 or 2x Dunlop SP01 FOR £320
Are Bridgestone worth the extra £40? Thoughts on wear, noise, grip appreciate too.
Thanks
Conor

Black Circles are showing £233 for the Dunlops and £243 for the Bridgestones fitted. According to their website, the Dunlop is better for wet grip and economy.

Re: 1er RF tyres
Thanks. Would need to get them posted to Belfast then try and persuade someone to fit them. Have never bought tyres online before, but there seems to only be 3 choices in N.I. for my 1 series Coupe.
Dunlop at £160 ea, Bridgestone for £180ea and Pirelli for £220ea.
Note - just put two new rear Bridgestone on in Jan.

Re: 1er RF tyres
So I checked online :
According to Tyreshopper, the only RF in 215/40 R18 are Pirelli P Zero at 178 fitted! On black circles same tyre is £165 delivered. No other options for RF 215 40 R18.
Might as well buy locally then either the Bridgestone for £180 ea fitted or Dunlops for £160ea fitted.
Opinions on these tyres please? Are Bridgestone worth the premium?

The Black Circles prices are fitted, you would need to put your postcode into their website to find the local agent.

I've always found tyreleader to be the cheapest.... They come from Germany so usually take a few days but are worth the saving.... Local garage fits for £10-15

Re: 1er RF tyres
Thank you for the input guys but online sites are coming back more expensive than local Dunlop or Bridgestone options, so looks like one or the other...
