I don't think this has been started before but I was wondering how you all came to choose your forum username. As I have little imagination
but plenty of knowledge
(I think)!! mine is my name. So, how did you choose yours?

Thought initials was too easy, so took first two letters from forename and surname.
Where I can I try to make it NeRo

Mine's an old Fast Show character who randomly appeared announcing his name and adding nothing constructive to the show…
Which is obviously nothing like my real character!

Mine is an old nickname from school and early working days. We were great fans of the wonderful
Derek and Clive and each in the group was given the nickname of a character from one of their three gratuitously disgusting albums.
I was known as
'Alfie Noakes' from their second album,
"Come Again" , due to certain physical attributes being mentioned which bore a similarity to my own..... I'll say no more.
If you do dig out the track and play it for old time's sake, please BE WARNED of the VERY non-PC content which would certainly not be considered funny today!
Cheers.
A.

Phoenix Nights is of course taken from the Peter Kay comedy series of the same name. Phoenix is also the colour of my car.
My avatar is The Phoenix from animated sci-fi series 'Battle Of The Planets'. The heroes - a motley collection of winged characters known as G-Force - would fly around in a ship called The Phoenix that could, if need be, transform into the ultra-fast Fiery Phoenix and escape from a tight spot.
