Have to say the Zeds looked stunning, those who were able to attend today did the marque proud !

And as for the weather, just about to apply another splash of aftersun .

And here are some more that I took avoiding the Lotuses that nearly slid into (and definitely sprayed mud) onto some of us! Well done to BMWCCGB for getting us firmly on the old track - it would have been miserable on the bank!

Anyway - here are a selected few of my images to help commemorate what was an amazing day especially lining up on the new start/finish straight.

A good day out.

Was I the only one whose foot slipped off their clutch pedal on the starting grid ?

This lad drove the lead AC Cobra on their parade lap. A very approachable guy, who was signing autographs and having his photo taken with everyone and anyone before the procession.

There was a row of about 20 F40s at the Ferrari enclosure. One of them was F40 NPG. I got quite excited when I saw it coming towards me, but the excitement waned when I saw that the driver was not the owner .

It was great to be able to walk though the garages while the mechanics were working on the cars. Lots of auto-exotica in various states of undress and no G4S to stop you having a letch .

Also, 1:27.528 on the AA's F1 simulator.

Fantastic weekend, my Zeddie stayed at home as we went in my husbands Cobra. The parade lap was brilliant and I must admit I did wish I was in my Zed when you were going round but to do it in the Cobra was awesome and we went round three times and not always at the 30mph limit

There was an accredited ' professional ' photographer taking 1000s of Z shots commissioned by John Safe. He was trackside on the parade lap and has some fantastic shots.
I'm not sure how you access them but I assume you have to buy them.
He is actually a friend of mine and I have the shot of my car which is brilliant.
I'll keep you posted as to what transpires in due course.
