Here is Harewoods PDF brochure,

Looks good don't it - imagine what it will be like with 200 BMW's parked in front of the main house.

Oh sh*tbags, just realised this clashes with Goodwood which was paid for a while ago. Sorry, going to have to withdraw.

Anybody else going to Goodwood this year?

We are aiming to come along to this. But SWMBO may have a Dress Rehursal that weekend for a project she is managing. If we do come will be driving up on the Saturday and staying overnight. I'll add our names to the list once I know for sure.

I am hoping to be able to make it as well - all depends on the doc passing me as fit to drive again next Thur as SWMBO is away next weekend so if the doc doesn't play ball will be well and truly stuck.

I'll definitely be at the meet, but the run-out is doubtful because SWMBO wants to look round the house.

Unfortunatly I can only play out until lunchtime hence I will have to change to meet only, is everyone getting there for 8.30 and is there any particular place we should meet/park in the grounds, are they grouping models in to areas ?

Zed Carer if you are having difficulties getting out and fancy a ride with me then you are more than welcome, it will only be until lunch unless you can find another ride back but I thought it would at least allow you to attend the meet. Let me know on this thread or PM.

Thanks very much for the offer, much appreciated. The good news is that I was passed by the doc yesterday as OK to drive  (and go back to work ). The bad news is that the Z3 has not even been washed for over 3 weeks and still has lots of bits of cosmetic "work in progress" - so not really in a fit state to go on display, so I might just leave her in the main car park and wander along to meet up with you all.

I'll be traveling up the A1 from just south of Ferrybridge and then going via Collingham - I'll leave going into Leeds until I have to on Monday.

Was speaking to some members or our extended family last night who live in Sheffield. Told them what we were doing on Sunday and they are going to come along too. So I applogise now if we seem a little anti-social, you know what family is like. :head:

I've just spoken to Andy McArthur, one of the organisers.

They had originally hoped to group models together, but this seems to have gone by the board. However, he says that - should a group of us wish to - there will be sufficient room after we get there for us to shuffle cars around so that we are all together. Gates open at 8.30, but there is no compulsion to get there on the dot - I am planning to arrive between 10 and 10.30.

It was an excellent day, and many thanks to everybody who was involved in the organisation.

Very good to meet you Deano, not to mention Zedcarer, Norwegian Blue, Aceman, etc, plus old friends Nick and Stu and some newcomers.

Nick persuaded me to enter the concours, although afterwards I felt a bit like the Irishman who went in for the w...ing competition and didn't come anywhere.

Hey Stu,

You didn't win on the raffle although you came close when number 6 was called, we didn't do any good on the concours, obviously, although we had some good Top Gear type giggles with the lads judging. I'm gonna have to get Nick next club nite for his bullying tactics! :)

Re our good idea, the place I was thinking of is Huttoft Car Terrace, there is b***er all there except for a kiosk but the beach is great.

I'm as badly sunburned as when I came back from Gaydon last year!

Was a great day, got a nice sunburn too. Nick and the guys did a good job organising and cajoling people to enter the concourse, which I duly did. Funny thing was, a guy behind me won third place but winged he lost points as he had forgotten to put the manual in the glove box! No chance for me then :)

Intended to post before now but been busy since leaving Harewood doing all the jobs my wife left for me to do whilst she was away and continuing work on SilverZ3. It was very nice to meet others from ZRoadster on such a nice day. I think that all the Zeds there looked really excellent and I must admit that for a time I was a bit despondent thinking that I will never get SilverZ3 to that condition. Now I am using the experience as an incentive and setting myself a more realistic timescale instead of trying to do everything at once so thanks for spurring me on and look forward to the next opportunity to meet again.

Sea Lane or Sea Road? Either way it's on Autoroute, so it's a goer.

Will look at dates and routes soon :D

It was indeed a good day just a shame I had to leave early, it was good speaking to a few of you especially NorwegianBlue and Zed Carer. I have been busy today replacing the brakes and painting the calipers, looks good now though.

Being my first time to one of these events I couldn't believe the amount of work everybody puts into polishing and generally making their cars shine, amazing  I have some catching up to do if I attend another.

Thanks for the nice day to those that put it together.

Belated thanks from me as well. Sorry I didn't manage to catch up with most of you, but we had a good time nonetheless.

Unfortunately no pictures from me, as my Sigma 28-200 lens picked Sunday to pack up and it was the only one I had with me. :head:

Looking forward to Tatton Park in September now.
