Harewood'09 - Concours of the North - June 21st
What a great day - but with no suncream and no hat I think that I will have a sore head in the morning! Lots of nice cars and no camera with me - hopefully someone will post some pictures.
Nice to meet both old and new faces - especially those that had traveled from afar. Everyone got to Ferrybridge with time to spare and we seemed to get to Harewood a bit quicker than the 39 mins quoted on the AA Route Planner '
Hope that everyone had a safe journey home.

Great day guys, I have a sunburnt head and it rained at home for most of the day .
I'll post some pics as soon as I get my card reader working again
Even managed to have a blast around Leeds before heading home
Oh and if there was any doubt an S50 Z3 is every bit as quick as an S54 Z4 (and a lot quicker than the Golf R32 we left standing )

Fantastic day and fantastic weather. How did those people that left early do in actualy getting out of the place, ZC and myself were the last of the zeds to leave and I suppose it took us around 15 minutes to get out but the wife who left around 2pm was stuck in the que for at least one and half hours
It was still a great day though and I had an insight as to what the concours is all about. Here are a couple of pics for you all;

myredzed, nice piccies. Shame you didn't get the "action" shot on the cruise when I hit a bird mid flight head on windscreen, I only had a feather stuck on my screen as it bounced off but my brother got a bonnet full of guts behind ............... (that was after I ran over a squirrel on my way over, not a good day for the wildlife )
I didn't realise it was one of us that had hit a bird - I assumed that there'd been an enthusiastic pillow fight earlier that morning!!jonttt wrote:Shame you didn't get the "action" shot on the cruise when I hit a bird mid flight head on windscreen, I only had a feather stuck on my screen as it bounced off but my brother got a bonnet full of guts behind
