I was hoping to bring my wife out on this jaunt to show her what's the zedding deal all about but my wife had a misscarraige during the week and scuppered any plans to join so we are spending the day on a gyne ward At least it's sunny if a bit on the fresh side for you folks, safe journey's, don't forget the pics and if there's any Tiger Moths or P17 can someone get some snaps for me.

Hi everyone
Glad you enjoyed the run and lovely to see your pics and all. Good company and a lovely selection of Zeds. We'll do a real run down to the sea etc later in the summer. Watch the events space.
AND thanks to Nick for leading ('Jane' needs an Asprin tho...)
Cheers - Ci

Cheers,
Alfie, it was very cold nonetheless and some probably didn't feel like risking cracking their rear screen if it got too cold before putting it up.
Anyway, thank you Carole and Nick for organising the day. Fabulous decision to put the date back Carole.
There has been a suggestion that we have a weekend away (like our German counterparts) and I reckon with a bit of early planning we could organise aq trip around end of July start of August. So if I start a new thread we could guage some numbers and then start planning.
Peter.

I few of us did say, all that was missing from the line-up was a Red Zed.
Perhaps you can oblige next time.
Sorry...
Yes, I hope so.
Speaking as someone who blew the rear window on my 323i cabrio getting ready for a Zed cruise, THAT'S STILL NO EXCUSE!!!Wessex wrote:Alfie, it was very cold nonetheless and some probably didn't feel like risking cracking their rear screen if it got too cold before putting it up.

In all the hub bub on Sunday of logging people in and checking their lunch requirements and everything, I forgot to say!! There was a competition folks - during the run you passed a GREEN telephone box. Located in which village?? Takers please? If none, we'll have to do the run again later this year, and make it the full length next time. Maybe more Z3s who missed participating first time round might join us?
Prize awaits...

Well done Ragtop you get the prize!! And a pic too! I was up that way today, a very special part of the country. Your prize awaits when you come down this way later in the summer, or we have a meet starting at the Rodean Cafe...
