Save the files from the email to your hard drive eg c:\temp.
Connect your TomTom
copy the files into the \ITN directory on your TomTom
reboot your TomTom
go into Itinery options
Load saved itinery (they should be listed)

Connect the tomtom to the computer and copy and paste the files into the folder 'itn' on your tomtom. Go to itinery planning and select 'options, load itinery'.

Changed your name now

Connect TT to computer. Explore the folder called itn and drag and drop from the e-mail.

The ONE 3rd edition does not seem to support itinerary files, even though it has an itn folder. I spent ages trying to get whiteminks' TomTom to work at a Tatton, and it just didn't have the menu options. I since read online that it is disabled on the 3rd edition and it involves a lot of hacking around to get it to work. Sorry. :(

ouch that would be a bummer :head:

I've just sourced a latest Go UK new sealed for £80 delivered, well impressed with it compared to the original ones I used to have (especially the new slimline built in suction mount). Got it as my Becker does not seem to support itineries and easier to follow a map on a cruise :D Downloaded and working itinery files no probs (no sure what version the current one is though?).

I've also sourced some walky talkies (x4) to use by people who need them (will hopefully be here tomorrow) so all tooled up for a cruise, just need sun now if someone can sort that :drive

I've got a map and a pencil to plot the route.
As I'm leading one group we will make it to Whitby but not necessarally by the prescribed route -- hee hee.
The fish and chips is the priority

I went to pick my Z up "early" today as the sun was out and save me getting it tomorrow morning but flat battery :head: so good job I did as its now on charge ready for tomorrow (luckily I pass were its stored to get to the meet).

I now have 2 walky talkies (was hoping for 4 but other 2 are sat at post office :bawl: ). I've never used them before (I feel like a kid with them). I presume we all have to be on the same "channel", any idea which one so I can set them up (obviously one will be free for someone who needs one to use  )

Channel 3 it is.

Mine has some sort of "secrecy" function to code the channel and make it private. I take it we are not doing anything that fancy as we don't mind who's listening in ?

This could get a bit "police acadamy" :D

This is worth a read if your new to cruising the "Spokey" guide to cruising

good luck to whoever is behind Deano (just don't follow his lines and you'll be able to keep up :D )

I think we should have proper names for each group as well

You don't really need a tomtom or map, you won't miss Deano's reversing lights as he backs up after a wrong turn :D

It's good to have a lie-in at the weekend, isn't it?

I was at Wetherby Services at 1630 today and the sun was shining in a clear, blue sky. Let's hope for the same tomorrow.

Off to bo-bo's and see you all in the morning.

ps Don't forget your 40p's. If I pay for your toll, you pay for my lunch - deal?
