It's not a case of being put down for CITP events
They are organised by Chris through the website link above.
(Note tickets are not yet available )
You need to register (free) with Cars In the Park, then buy your tickets on-line.
You will then receive an email with a sheet to print and display in your windscreen.

Nearer the time we'll sort out who is going to meet where and when and then drive in convoy to Newby Hall.
Last year the southern caffeine addicts met at Wetherby Services then pootled up to Boroughbridge services to meet the hardy northerners

I can vouch that the Garden Show :flower: and Refreshment Tent :cheers were excellent.
It's worth going just for a paving slab sized piece of fruit flapjack :thumb:

(edited to highlight registration procedure!)

Put me down for Ferrybridge (if i can find the exit off the roundabout :head: )

Might be worth emphasising in BOLD that people will stall have to register and pay on the site closer to the time.

But those meeting up and driving in in convoy should all be able to park together :D

If anyone can't rendezvous before going in to Newby Hall, it can be difficult to "save" extra places on the end of the parking lines.
However, I'm sure we'll try :colourful:

I've emailed the organiser directly and had the following response:

Got my ticket today :D

Chris has been having a few problems and has posted a notice on the website that payment could take up to a couple of days but mine went through straightaway.

The bit I missed when first reserving the ticket was selecting the number of occupants as there are different prices for 1 or 2 occupants.

However, Chris is having trouble with the website.
Suggest you hang back with ticket purchases for a week or so ;)

I've just bought my ticket, and I'll be there with my missus (I was able to tempt her with the prospect of seeing the Newby Hall gardens, which neither of us has visited yet).

Not sure yet whether we will be meeting up at Ferrybridge or Wetherby - it depends whether we will be driving from Sheffield or Pickering on the morning.

Look forward to seeing you again - I think that it was the refreshment tent that persuaded Mrs ZC to come again this year :D' - last year she didn't have a choice as I had a broken wrist so she was driving

Ok, what was it? Bushmills, Cooley, Jamesons, Paddy or Tullamore Dew? I am assuming from your spelling of whiskey that we are talking Irish here. 8-)

Do you mean you have physically received your ticket? I remember last year for Harewood we were e-mailed a reference number and a windscreen sticker to print out. The money for Newby Hall has been taken from my credit card, but I have received nothing so far except a subsequent e-mail advising me that tickets are now on sale.

You need to log onto the CITP website and access your account.
The ticket symbol should be "active" thus enabling you to print the ticket.
The site's problems were associated with the payment/ticket release mechanism.
If it doesn't work email Chris direct

Hi Snoops :wave
I guess spring must have sprung in the west - welcome back from hibernation

There's loads of room for all comers at Newby.
IIRC last year there were about 350 assorted "sports" cars present which included a dozen or so Z3/4s.
The house and grounds are pretty and the refreshment tent (marquee) was excellent.
There was also a strolling jazz band in case anyone's CD player packs up

Driving along roof down in the sun pressed the button to change CD and - Yes you've guessed - got the CD Error message - first time for a year :head:

Hi... I've registered with CITP and bought my ticket. I've gone for the car and 2 occupants but I'm just not convincing him about the day ! Cars, gardens... nah... refreshment tent... thought I had him there but he's wavering, didn't mention the jazz band I would have just got "one of those looks" :D

It's a definite Zippy and me and I'll have a nice ride over to Ferrybridge for a coffee fix.

It feels good to have come out of hibernation, me and zippy have had a lovely week, he's come to work with me every day, he was so fed up of the garage.. looking forward to meeting everyone. :wave :drive

Hi Snoops - moved you into the Ferrybridge group. IIRC as well as the refreshment tent with homemade cakes to die for - if Titan's slab of flapjack had fallen on you it would have crushed you to death - we had quite a nice lunch there.
