Yorkshire Cruise Saturday 26th June

Here we go again...lets get out and enjoy the summer in our zeds. Meet at Wetherby services 0900 for a 0945 start.

The route takes in some of the finest roads in the land and the lovely scenery of the Yorkshire Dales. Lunch is booked in a nice pub in Wensleydale. The end point is Ripley, just north of Harrogate.

If you want to come drop me a pm with your details including e mail, car reg/type, name and whether you have a passenger.

I will send out a menu nearer the time by e mail and I will need your choices mailing back to me.

Put us down as interested, I am changing jobs 2 weeks before so wont know for definate as i dont know when i go on call out. If we can make it can my lad come along he picks his 325ti up about the week before so this will be a good opertunity for him to properly test it out. ( can keep him at the back) so he doesnt spoil the view of us looking at all the other zeds going

Sorry but after my recent accident my car is off the road and I will not be able to lead this cruise.

If anyone else wants to take it on I have the itinery complete and the lunch venue booked. If not we can run it later in the year.

Sorry to hear your news Mark. However, to cancel it would be a great shame.

I would be happy to take on some of the organisation with someone else's assistance.

I don't mind dealing with the meal orders and finalising details with the pubs etc. However, I am rubbish when it comes to sat-nav routes and the navigation bits.

So, if someone else will take on actually leading the driving aspects, I will make sure we are all fed and watered at appropriate times.

Any offers?

Ok we are back on again with the cruise. TrickyZ1 is coming along and will lead it. I will cone along as a passenger. There is a chance also my car will be back on the road in time - fingers crossed.

The cruise is a couple of weeks away now. We have 11 cars confirmed. I'm pretty sure mine will be one of them, after a recent mishap. Its half repaired and should be finished next weekend.

If anyone else wants to come along let me know. More cars would be good. The route is fab and it should be great day out.

I have sent out the pub lunch menu by e mail to those who have confirmed. Please let me know your food choices over the next week, since I have to pre-order.

I want to go at a steady pace and enjoy the scenery and have a nice leisurely lunch.

I have menu choices from all now so thanks for that guys and gals. We have 8 cars in total which is a nice manageable group. The weather forecast is dry and 23 degrees- perfect:-)
My car has a temporary bonnet repair so don't look too closely at the paint job. It's off the road again after Saturday for a respray and another little mod;-) See you all soon it will be a great drive.
