North Wales Cruise 21 Aug 2010
OK all you zedders. I have selected a date for this Run Saturday the 21st August 2010.
The Itinary is as follows:

and a look around the showroom. I have secured a private parking area for all members and some
Special offer's (see later post below). Leave at 10:00am
2) Onward to the top of the Horse Shoe Pass
Photo Opportunity 15 minute stop.
On to Betws y coed.
No trip in this neck of the woods would be complete without a lap or two around the Evo Triangle (if your all up for it? )
(Spokeys suggestion)
3) Arrive at Betws y Coed Lunch 12:30 at the
Glan Aber Hotel £13.95 Per Head for a 3 course lunch. please PM
me if you want the Menu. (Posted Below)

a favourite of top gear presenters (the sound of our Zed's through these tunnels will be fantastic!)
5) Arrive Caernarfon. Photo Opportunity? Or stop at LLanberis if busy.
6) Travel through the Llanberis Pass (if you have never done this route
you are in for a treat, unbelievable views) going through Beddgelert to Portmadoc 30 minute stop. (Great Ice Creams here).

Here are the offers available from Demon Tweeks:
To confirm, this is what we will offer to your club members attending on the day :
Specific parking for you all at the right-hand side of the building, ideal for photoshoots, chats, grouping cars etc - there will need to be access still for trucks unloading & loading but we will speak to you on arrival. Depending on numbers, you may also have to use the staff car park.
Burger Van - Great burgers and drinks available on site.
Why not take advantage of the specific deals on offer for you and your members ?
15% discount off all tracking and/or labour (fitting services) for all pre-booked jobs for that day (only on parts that will be paid for here on the day). All work must be pre-booked via Kevin Manley on 01978 663031 or KevinM@demon-tweeks.co.uk
10% discount on all items purchased in the showroom or fitting centre on the day, whether available on the day, or sent / collected at a later date. Please note there are just a couple of product lines that discounts cannot be given on eg Pioneer ICE, some tyres - these will be informed at the time of purchase as it's very few. These offers can not be used in conjunction with any other offer.
To try and make the day better for all involved, if you can give some guidance to the major car marques in your club we will see if we can offer some other specific deals for the day.
A few notes that we require you to do/note :
Please keep us up to date with numbers attending - we will try and make sure it's as organised as possible for the correct amount of cars.
There is a speed limit of 5mph whilst in the grounds of Demon Tweeks - it's a normal day of business for us and quite often familes/children around . Anyone from your group found ignoring our rules will result in the whole group being penalised and asked to leave, this is just a cautionary note and not one that we have had to refer to before. On the subject of speed we would also advise abiding by the highway laws as it's normal to see a Police presence on and around the industrial estate.
One person collect the discount vouchers on arrival - please hand back when making a purchase.

I'm up in North Wales every other weekend visiting family, so I might join halfway! I will be in Llanberis, at the foot of 'the pass' (yep, amazing road... better when it isn't tourist season )... So will join in at that point, or at Caernarfon, but a photo opportunity here? er, where? lol!
I haven't driven through the tunnels in the Z yet.. will be amazing to have a load of straight 6's going through at once

How strange. I stayed there a while ago and the food was great! Maybe things have changed.TaffZee wrote:Due to the original lunch stop being somewhat unhelpfull and poor reviews, I have changed the lunch stop location To the Glan Aber Hotel. More details to follow (see original post).

do you actually like driving at all or are cars to you just a manifestation of some sort of pathological mother complex ?
The latest local food review was poor. I agree the reason I chose this stop was it did receive good reviews.spokey wrote:How strange. I stayed there a while ago and the food was great! I wish
Spent too long slogging across the mountains, it was just a bimble in and out of snowdonia.
The roof was up and down like a whores knickers, blue sky one minute chucking it down another. We got caught in a shower in standing traffic in Betws-y-Coed much to the amusement of the tourists
