Nannypie Lane Mini Meet

Postby snoops » Thu 27 Jan, 2011 20:07

Well today called for a mini meet and what better place than Nannypie Lane :D

Just round the corner from an excellent farm shop and cafe where we could natter to our hearts content.

Image

Having chatted for an hour or so over an early lunch and cups of tea and hot chocolate we had a run down the road to take in the scenery and stopped again to top up with more hot chocolate and coffee and a 2hr chat :D. I'm sure the staff thought they were going to have to kick us out :D

Went off to find a photo opportunity to show off the scenery and our pride and joy... they look like best buddies :)

Just had to capture this sky.....

A lovely day was had, it was the perfect thing to do with a flexi day and the company was exceptional. Quite a few changes to Old Zeddy and those Angel Eyes looked very nice through my rear view mirror.

Now where were we and who was my company :D

Looks like you managed some decent weather. 8-)

Nannypie Lane wouldn't be Low Sizergh Barn would it? :P

Hi, what a great day we had :D really bitterly cold, old zeddy.s heater works a bit too well, i was roasted, till i parked up.

Nannypie Lane, what a funny name. Excellent company Snoops, really enjoyed our chat, and more chat, and more :)

Zippy looked excellent too, he changed colour as the skies changed.

Here are a few of my pics

The cheek of it! Did I Google it, indeed!

I have walked up Nannypie lane and eaten in the farm shop cafe. It's such an unusual name, there can't be two surely? It is only a few miles from my parents place and in muckspreading season it has been referred to as Coddymuck Lane!

It is a very small world. :)

Cheers R.

If they do flapjack can I participate?
Failing that, maybe Seasurfer will take pity and send me some

Do you know what, Gill picked one up in the shop but I think, and I'm sure Gill will agree, that you should join us next time and the invitation goes out to anyone else.

The place probably gets busy at the weekend though but we could always book a big table.... :D or I could take another day off work....
