Swiss photos preview - gonna be a while sorting them out
Going to take a while sorting out the 1100 photos I took and getting them into albums - so I figured I would post half a dozen or so - I may add to this later in the week as I go through them - when I have them all sorted I'll put them into albums and upload them to my site for all to view

Europe run
A great time was had thanks to Dave and PN, Tim and all the others who worked so hard to organise things.
Highlights were Piz Gloria, a clear run at the Furkapass and passenger in Tim’s Z4 over the Klausenpass in the wet experiencing high ‘G’ forces.
Nick
Some pictures of shiny car and breytons, also for those of you (and David doesn't know about this one) who wonder what to do in your spare time on Holiday...... see picture two

Neal,
The picture is Andermatt in Switzerland.
Giles,
You are disqualified, that caption was obviously penned by Tim!

David's soul leaves through his mouth (just like Paddy Swayzee in Ghosts) (big ball of light ) and enters the rodent where David is constrained to pooing on a rock for peanuts from tourists

- This is before we went to lunch - I think at around that time there were about 200 cars - when we got back the total had risen to over 300 - and still they kept arriving

Tim
The electric fence was even more amusing - I brushed against it - got a shock - then Tim and Nick warned me it was an electric fence - and I grabbed it to check
King of the Divvys
If Nick's gonna post some - then so am I

Interlaken is a great choice, perhaps a full day trip out to Zermatt also, the Matterhorn in all it's glory should be seen by everybody at some point in their lives.. even if you are elbow to elbow with 100 Japanese tourists!
Let me know how I can help with anything, my knowledge of interesting roads may not be great, but restaurants, hotels, scenic views, excursions and generally things to do in the Berner Oberland region is not bad and is still growing after over six years living in the Bern region.
Anyway, I'm off to wax the skis and snowboard now
BTW: our back garden is a pretty steep hill, not suitable for tents- sorry Tim and Nick- we have got a family sized bomb shelter though
Cheers

Hi Gary- Touristy- yes agreed, but not necessarily a trap if you know where to go. They have a Hooters bar on the main Interlaken strip now. If you are new to hooters- visit www.hooters.com.
Their moto is 'Delightfully tacky, yet unrefined'- pretty apt for us then I guess.
I hope the thousands of Citroen owners don't descend on Interlaken again at the same time next year..

We're sorted - that is a major result - schwing babyAlexC wrote:They have a Hooters bar on the main Interlaken strip now
