I had a great day today and thanks to all for coming along despite the weather. We had rain for 3/4 of it but the promised break came late on and we managed to get top down for the last leg. The last leg free for all 'every man for himself' is going to be a feature of my future cruises

The big V8 managed 16.5 mph today and didnt miss a beat all day so thanfull for that 8-)

Even I managed to go faster than that :D . It must have been because your wheels were always spinning.

Another great day out. Many thanks.

If you promise :sunny next time, I'll promise to bring my other blue car 8-) .

I never went above 140. The road was wet, and I was running out of planet.

Cracking day out today, thanks for organizing it Mark :thumb:

Nice to see old and new faces

Never thought I would get into water skiing but today has changed my mind :)

Two quotes of the cruise which made us laugh....

"it's every man for himself" by Mark on the last leg

and

"they've f***ed off" by Yocky also on the last leg

:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

Photographs to follow :)

Paying the price. Which was 40p but I had been led to believe it was 20p so tried getting a discount price (Maurice is rubbing off on me!). it did not work..

Well to to Deano for some excellent roads this morning, even with the weather you could see the potential..
Thanks to Tricky for leading our group at an excellent pace considering the weather :)
I'm glad the weather lifted for you guys in the afternoon, we were on our way back and just hit the A1 when the sun came out- so diverted to Harrogate for the afternoon where it was full on sunshine :?

Thanks Mark for organising a brilliant day we both really enjoyed it and it was great meeting up with everyone. It was our first run in our Z3 and its nice to find out just what it is capable of. It was certainly driven to its limits yesterday and it was great fun splashing through the ponds and rivers where the roads used to be. We hope to meet up with all again soon

Thanks Mark for organising a good run out and good to see old and new faces. Glad the weather didn't dampen any spirits. Dazster behaved himself well, so was rewarded with an oil and filter change this morning :)
