Norfolk Village & Countryside Cruise 18 Sept 2011
Ok, Mary and myself have completed the planned route for the above cruise on the 18th Sept. The cruise will start from HQ (Knights Hill) at 11am. Will will all meet up at 10-30am for a briefing. The route will take us to our 1st stop at Great Massingham for a photo opportunity. Will will then travel off through the villages and country side to Gressinhall were we will have lunch at the Swan. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BRING CASH AS THEY DON'T TAKE CARDS. After that we head north through Fakenham through the villages again and we will stop off at Thursford for a few hours. If we get 20 people or more, the entrance fee will be £4, if we don't get 20 people the entrance will be £8. At 5pm, when they close, we will head off again through the villages Back to "HQ" for a meal ( if you wish to) at 6:30pm.
I hope this sounds ok to everybody.
Please post names and numbers if you wish to join us.

Very pretty area, looking forward to it with relish.
Lets hope as Bazza said, It may be the last chance to get our tops off

Mike, Sandy, Fancy cruising down again together? I promise I wont be late this time as long as the A14 doesn't catch me out again
Bazza
Good idea. Same place, 9 - 9.15am.
Would you prefer the scenic route or just plain old A to B

Ok Liam, I've added them to the list.Z3cade wrote:Hi macca sorry for late reply but my cousin only returned from hols today and said he would like to join us please put him down as a +1 as should be bringing a friend..
His names peter.. But not a member on here.. Yet..
Thanks, liam.
I am going to have to close this for attendees, on Tuesday night I'm afraid due to letting the people know numbers for meals etc.
I've had to change the route slightly as one of the roads is going to be closed. This isn't a big problem as it was a narrow road anyway and I think I've found a better one anyway.
Please remember to bring some cash with you because, as stated in the 1st post, the Swan at Gressenhall doesn't take cards. I have arranged for us to have the greatest part of the eating area to ourselves, although it is all open plan.

Sorry not to be hooking up but we are off to the Revival at Goodwood.
See you at Christmas.

Chin up Ray, I'd don't think that everyone will be able to last that long
without a get together, I'm sure that there will be a pub meet or two
between now and the 'Season to be Jolly'

Ok, everything has been confirmed with the stop overs and they are looking forward to seeing us. The Swan at Gressenhall has asked us to be a bit patient with the food order and they will serve us as quickly as they can.
Could I ask everybody to have a full tank of fuel as there isn't many garages on the route.
Let's hope the weather is kind for us and Mary and myself are looking forward to meeting you all again.
