It's amazing what some people will do in search of more corner speed

I think i have seen the video of that crash on youtube. The silver coupe nearly kills a guy standing next to his westie (or similar) after coming off at the same corner.

The link to the video was posted on either here or z3mcoupe.com.

In the picture the Z is actually on top of the Westfield. 2:30 in (ish).

It is basically just over three minutes of bad driving. Have to say though, it's only seeing the Z lose it that akes me wince.

WOW!

Looks like that's a corner to go in slow and come out fast, rather than how a lot of those guys did!

very true Stu.

Thats what my instructor told me when I had one for a day at combe. That corner is quite dangerous taken with the wrong driver at the wheel.

There is a perfect line to take and strangely its slight left of center after the first apex (you head in a straight line towards the safety lights) that way being in a straight line after coming over the rise and you can break very hard if your carrying too much speed over it. then when you see the apex turn it at boot it out again along the straight to the next chicane. So many time I have overtook cars way faster than mine there by exiting much quicker.

There seems to be a large market for left hand side mirrors ...
