Be aware - Dangerous Range Rover in Chiswick/Brentford

Post by Mike »

How I love driving in London.

All those Zeddies driving about in Chiswick and/or Brentford please steer clear of a dark Range Rover S741CTE who I quote as shouting to me "Its about bl***y time I smashed into a zed to see what happens. F**king girlie ***£$^£$**&&£$ £^£^^" or 4 letter words to that effect. Clearly a bear with little brain but his mother loves him no doubt. This individual has just passed me as I approached a miniroundabout by speeding past me on the pavement and bouncing directly across the miniroundabout and into my path. Luckily I managed to take avoiding action by taking the exit from the roundabout I did not want. I flashed and hooted the idiot to which he slammed on his brakes and stopped at the next traffic lights even though they were green. He then got out and came back towards my car shouting and screaming. I did a quick getaway and managed to get past his car and fled off. He then followed me up the A4, light ablazing, weaving about all the lanes trying to overtake until I lost him by taking a quick right turn into Ealing and jumping a red light in the process. If he had followed further I was going to drive to Richmond police station. Reports have gone to police anyhow and I have posted on all Range rover forums I can find but I guess nothing much will ensue. All watch out for this guy and take care.

I will be using my Land Cruiser for the next few days in case he show up again. At least then I stand a fighting chance.

I hope your report to the police did not mention your encounter with the red light

Sometimes its best to do nothing........maniac could have a bat.

I've actually seen young guys in a car targeting older couples and threatening them for no reason.

I had a guy threaten me from his car, all i said to him was 'keep on shouting but dont dare get out of your car'.......they soon go

Thanks guys for the replies. I spent 2 years living in Nigeria so a jerk with
or without a bat ain't a problem. Out there they have AK47's and teargas.
Compared with nigeria driving, UK is very straight forward although the differences seems to be getting smaller.

Many moons ago I had an altercation with another driver.

I was coming out of London and someone in a 'roller' cut me up. I politely showed him the error of his ways with a common archers hand gesture.

I don't think he appreciated it as he stopped his car at the Earls Court lights and got out. I thought oh dear he looks angry!

He subsequently come to my window and proceeded to try and grab hold of me, despite the window being closed. This was no deterrent and he just smashed the window. He had literally gone. I managed to advert his advances and he went. Luckily a chauffeur driven car behind saw it all and acted as a witness.
The Rolls Royce driver got six months imprisonment, suspend for two years.

What is it with Range Rovers? I had one on Wednesday in Newark on the A46 close up behind me and then off overtaking me and a load of other cars infront. He wasnt bothered at all by a blind bend and several cars coming the other way had to just get out of the way!

Deano , I was beginning to think it was my imagination!
There are so many 4x4's in Lincolnshire and I have had several encounters when I thought they were going to drive straight over the top of me.

There are some real nutters about aren't there !

So that is the correct reg then Mike?

Think your efforts informing the Police might just expose this bloke to be driving a clone! Not even a Range Rover clone at that.

He'll claim it's not his fault though but at least he'll have a lot of paperwork to keep him off the streets!
