Hi all, great to put faces to the usernames! Really enjoyed meeting you guys last night, and enjoyed the natter and banter. Super pics Toby, well done. Hey Roger, fancy seeing you again as a Zedder, it certainly is a small world. Have a great holiday John, let us know how many Z3's you spot out in Croatia. Chris, looking forward to some of your special wheel cleaner, hope it's "Wurth" It!
Here's to the next meet up

Re: Z3 Zedders in West Sussex?
Well, what can I add?
I enjoyed myself and for me it was the first time of meeting any of the other forum members since joining a year ago last April just after buying my first Zed.
A great location, and there must be others we can come up with for our future meetings - maybe once a month and I'm sure we'll get others to catch on.
As for me, well, I'm off on a long camping holiday with the Zed - and Janet of course! Belgium, Germany, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. I must get some photos posted here.
Thanks for a great evening - see you all soon.

Re: Z3 Zedders in West Sussex?
And we're up for a meet too. We're new Zed owners since june thus year and the commonality of Zed ownership seems a great community. We went to Silverstone last weekend and that was an awesome experience.

Time for another meet methinks. Suggestions please.

As for suggestions, well we all met near Pulborough which was a 30 mile drive for me. Any chance of something more to the west this time (I live near Waterlooville)? I'm not au fait with the pubs in the region so for suggestions I'd end up Googling which probably isn't the best way to find a good pub - but I'm available so include me.
If you want to be added to the list - cut and paste the names below here into a reply - and add your own name too of course....
So, 1st on the list:

Re: Z3 Zedders in West Sussex?
I know you would prefer somewhere closer to home for the next meet John, but there is a pub near me that does a very good pie (+ veggies ) and a pint for a tenner, on Thursday evenings.

The Queens Head in West Chiltington.
Anyone else up for a pie and a pint Thursday eve next week (27th), weather permitting.

Re: Z3 Zedders in West Sussex?
The reason I was mentioning something nearer to me is because I'm out of work and have been for some time. It seems at my age I'm no longer required.Bonzo wrote:The Queens Head in West Chiltington.

But it also means I'm utterly skint. This pub is a 65 mile round trip for me so unless I'm offered a job pretty soon, I'll have to miss it I'm afraid which would be a great pity - I really enjoyed the last meeting and would like to see our regular meeting kept up.

Re: Z3 Zedders in West Sussex?
John,
Name a pub near you and I'll come over. How about Midhurst area. You came over to us, we should come over to you this time. It The drive would let me really warm up the engine.
Before the winter sets in lets have a meet. Last one was great.

Re: Z3 Zedders in West Sussex?
Winter in quickly coming. Are we going to just talk or are we going to meet?
How about The Royal Oak on A286 less than a mile south on Midhurst.
Passed it yesterday but did not go in. Large car park and food and drink.
Checked web and seems ok.
Just need to sort a date.

How about the Goodwood Breakfast Club meeting at the race track on Sunday 07 October? See my thread... http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35000
Re: Z3 Zedders in West Sussex?
It would be good if we could all park together once there. I have never been to a Goodwood Breakfast Club meeting before so I am not familiar with the parking arrangements.Olly2012 wrote:How about the Goodwood Breakfast Club meeting at the race track on Sunday 07 October?
