Almost, I'm just across the border in Surrey, but I'm in the Warnham area most Thursday evenings and some Tuesday mornings!

Lots in the Horsham area.

I know of at least six in the town, Half of them Atlanta Blues. One is my wife's and mine is a cosmos black. There is also a pistachio green one in Storrington I often see parked.

Yes, I have seen the green one in Storrington, also a black 2.0l parked in a side lane on the way out of Pulborough and a light blue 2.0l parked in front of a house opposite the wildbrooks.

I'm just over the border, near Petersfield. Mine's a Topaz Blue 2.8 and it can be seen in Petersfield today because the Jubilee celebrations are on. Later at about 2pm there'll be a classic car procession too.

I'm in Horsham, have a silver 1.9 2002. Must be enough to make an evening pint and natter?

Is someone going to suggest a pub meeting - Pulborough looks like it might be central for most of us...

Well - so far a number of suggestions, but no action!

I suggested Petworth area - if that's OK, how about adding your name below and once we get more than say half a dozen, decide which pub and when...

Any chance of you guys getting together in West Sussex and organising a Zed cruise? You seem to have a few Zeds around that area, also lovely countryside for a cruise. I'm sure you would get a few of us from East Sussex & Kent to join you. :drive

Count me in guys. A suitable pub would be The White Hart, Stopham bridge betwixt Pulborough and Fittleworth, Good car parking to line the Zeds up and beautifull location. Some pub's car parks are not suitable, but hey, I'm easy as to which pub we use. Bonzo. :)

We're getting some response at last.

So far we have:

John1950
Tilly
Bonzo
cn55
SRA5040

Three or four more would make it a decent event. Once we have them we can decide from the pubs suggested.
I'm looking forward to it.

A colleague/friend of mine has just joined the Z3 fold, although (and hopefully he won't join and see this yet!) one could describe him as something of a technophobe, so persuading him to join this forum could take me some time. However, he is also resident in W Sx, so could we make him welcome at this event too, if it eventually goes ahead? :)

Let us know in advance what evenings are free for you if you can, I'm sure we can pick one that is ok for you. I would much prefer weekday evenings if possible, (a lot of other stuff going on at weekends). A nice dry warm one!

Cheers all, Bonzo.

Right - if we have enough, can I make a suggestion for a venue?

I wasn't sure how far people are travelling but I had a search online and this pub at Byworth seems very nice - good write up too:

THE BLACK HORSE INN, BYWORTH - WEST SUSSEX, GU28 OHL

I'll drive over and check out the parking situation at The Black Horse. I think it may be a bit tight . All depends on how many will be attending. It was a a nice pub the last time I went.

Cheers, Bonzo.

The car park in The Black Horse at Byworth is a little tight for space in my opinion. The car park in The White Hart at Stopham is much more spread out and picturesque, ideal for photographs. The beer garden is right next to the car park, so it's just a couple of steps from the tables to the cars, so we can wander around, chew the fat and take in each others Zeds. It really is a lovely setting, with the old road bridge and river right next to the pub.

All we need is a warm, dry evening! :sunny I am on holiday from 21st-29th July , but would love to attend if the meet could be held on a weekday evening outside of these dates.

I hope this helps John.

Cheers all, Bonzo.

Den and Bluie will be staying at home. Her comment, two Zeds from one family is a bit excessive!

Nice to see the numbers have gone up considerably.[/quote]

Had a look at the pub on their web site - seems very pleasant. It also gets very good write ups in www.beerintheevening.co.uk
It should be a pleasant evening now that we've got a few going.
I hope the weather holds out!

Was good to meet you all! Definitely think we need to get a cruise on at some point, and I'll get the car washed this time!

Sorry I had to leave, had some work stuff needed finishing before I get the chance to sleep.

I'll second that - I enjoyed my first meeting of some of the members.
Great location - a pity the sun wasn't shining.

Hi Toby

Good to meet you last night.
Great 'artistic' photos - it's the first time I've seen my Zed both with others and out and about.

Looking forward to the next meet - pub or cruise (or both!).
