Dakar In Christchurch

Post by Ragtop »

Spotted this Dakar in Christchurch today. Wondering if the chrome hoops suit the Dakar Yellow?

Hi Ron

I think the chrome hoops look good.........but then I'm also happy with the black as a contrast to the Dakar. Splinters in me backside on this one

The thing that I always think is the "icing on the cake", is chrome tips on the exhaust............expensive and a pain to keep clean..............but worth every penny 8-)

I think chrome hoops look good regardless of colour but I personally don't have them for 2 reasons :

1) I prefer the OEM wind deflector to Perspex ones held on with Velcro
2) Most of the chrome ones advertised are not capable of protection in the event of a roll

Just my opinion.
Here come the girls.....

.... Exhaust tip easy cleaning..... use a small squirt of oven cleaner...and leave for a couple of minutes... then wipe and rinse....

I think they look good, I also like the chrome door handles on Dakar. :)
