Excellent owners review of Z4m Coupe on pistonheads..

Car has some excellent mods, aero kit side skirts, strut brace and CSL 19" alloys.. looks 110%... makes you want to spend some money...

Yup, Steve posts a lot on Z4um as well.

He's a very lucky man, but I'm sure he must have a tiny widger

No, but it is a real PIA the way it keeps pushing the brake pedal. 8-)

I don't know about the Z4 roadster but the coupe simply OWNS... I sat in one at my local dealer's, I put on an stupid grin and I didn't want to get out. I think I'd quite fancy one as a winter run-around :P

Sadly, I think I wouldn't be able to move away from the lures of top-down driving.. But if BMW made a targa (a la Carrera), I'd be REALLY tempted...

By the way, why don;t you do what I do, use it as a scarf on those freezing sunny winter day drives

The more I see this car the better I think it looks. Is the front strut standard?

I want one.

Very Very nice - though it's not had many good reviews in the motoring press! I personally would prefer the soft top version - for me, if you going to get a 2 seater, u might aswell have a softtop!

Gi, I wasn't suggesting it was cock waving, I just think someone who's lucky enough to have a Z4MC and a CSL must (if there's any justice in this world) have some 'issues' somewhere in their life, so if you'd care to enlighten us????

Kipper, BMW now offer a strut brace as an official accessory, so all our comments obviously get picked up somewhere along the line (or is it the money?).

I also think Steve's comments about the 'CSL' type camber and wheel combo is absolutely spot on, like most cars of this type, a few subtle tweeks can make it simply awesome, as the homoligated car is a whole lot of compromises. Fortunately for lots of other lucky 4MC owners, he seems to have found a set up he's happy with and I'm sure most will follow at some stage.

I love everything he's done, I just need a lottery win so I can have the same! Can't wait 'till I hear one with an Eisenmann exhaust now.
