3rd car, 2nd BMW, 1st Z3

Post by yalden »

Hiya guys,

I'm sure you get tired of reading these posts day in and day out, so I'll keep it short!

I have just sold my 3-series coupe, I was looking at either a 330ci, S3, TT and Z3... after a while I discarded the Audi's in favour of the BMW options.

Today I took my first viewing of a Z3, a few hours later I'd laid down a deposit...

Out of all the different models I saw online, this one seemed well spec'd and has a colour combination that really took my fancy! All the 2.8's within my price range (6.5k) were a little more bland so I decided to settle for the 2.0... (also, any savings on running costs can help towards buying my first house).

The car is a 2000 Z3 2.0 in black (haven't checked paint code for exact details yet) with 60,000 miles. It has ZM seats finished in Arizona Sun/Black leather with complimenting Arizona sun door inserts, M steering wheel trim and gear/handbrake gaitors. The car also has the M gearknob (which I hate), 17" BMW wheels (wider rears), heated/elec seats, A/C, Traction Control etc.

I thought it might've been a KYALAMI edition, but according to THIS SITE it would then have the ZM mirrors.

I'll reserve all my questions for another post...

Thanks for reading,

Chris

Welcome, if it is an Individual you would find a plaquw under the bonnet stating this.

Kyalami is really nice IMHO.

As I don't collect the car till Saturday 5th, I can't check under the bonnet for any signs of 'Individual'. I'm sure it's not an actual individual model such as the Kyalami but according to BMW it has individual spec'd upholstory and a load of optional extras.

Welcome to the individuals' club, we dont have many here!

AFAIK individuals never came with M mirrors, only the M's had them so whoever told you that was slightly misinformed. Hope you enjoy the ride :)
