Hello everyone

Post by jon5698 »

Hi everyone i am new to the world of bmw's i have been and still a big fan of japanese cars but i thought it was time for a change. I have always loved the bmw z3 since it was first released and now i am a bit older i am finally going to be able to get one. I am on the look out for a 2.8ltr model and cant wait to find one, just have to sell my car first.

Hi Jon and welcome :)

Good luck with your zed hunt, there's plenty to choose from at the moment and prices are right 8-)

Welcome to the forum Jon. The 2.8 is a good choice IMO - best compromise between performance and affordability

Thanks for the warm welcomes, i am going to put my car on piston heads tonight and hopefully it wont take too long to sell. I was going to go for the 2.2 but after reading on here that the 2.8 isn't that much worse on fuel consumption and it is only £100 extra to insure the extra torque will be worth it :)

I have seen 2 which i really like can people let me know their thoughts on these, i.e price and condition. I only advertised my car last night and have had a few calls so hopefully it wont take long to shift.

The black one is my favourite out of the two of them.

Hi Jon
You have just saved me the trouble of posting pics  The auto trader car is the one I bought. My advice on the other is go to see it. I went to see several cars advertised as immaculate,FSH,low mileage but when I got there they had no documentation to support this.
Hope this helps
