Dashboard lights non functioning

Hi from a new member.
Had my Z3 for some years now and have always had problems with the dash lights....now they have failed completely....new light switches have been fitted but all have not cured the problem...Garage here in France has given up!!!!..their advice 'do not go out in the dark'
Anyone out there had the same problem?

Hi pardeloup and welcome to the forum

It's difficult to be precise with a diagnosis but I would check the dimmer rheostat behind the headlight switch.
