Stu, do you find it difficult to unlock the centre caps of your Alpina Softlines?

No, the locks seem OK if kept lubed with WD40 each time they're off & I cheat, using washing up liquid to re-fit the centres. The blank has a special little hook to remove it to give access to the lock. I guess if the blanks are missing or not water tight, the locks could sieze easier. Saying that, the car's only done 65,000 in it's 13 years service.Bonzo wrote:Stu, do you find it difficult to unlock the centre caps of your Alpina Softlines?

Welcome !! Nice to see the numbers growing...I'm sure you'll have as much fun on this forum as I have over the past couple of years...
Re: new z3 owner
I just have one that is always difficult to lock, (all fine to remove), but found a special tool on e-bay which is perfect if you have a problem locking/unlocking these cap covers.stu wrote:No, the locks seem OK if kept lubed with WD40 each time they're off & I cheat, using washing up liquid to re-fit the centres.
